Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all technical and infrastructural matters related to the building and technical facilities of the location are solved and continuously develop these, incl. Legal requirements
  • Coordination, supervision and monitoring of the entire facility management with the aim to ensure the proper operation and maintaining the value of the building
  • Be the contact person for the following stakeholders related to the building or facility management issues: European subsidiaries Headquarter in Korea, tenants, authorities, city hall, fire brigade, police, inspectors, neighborhood, etc.
  • Verification of compliance with legal and regulatory technical inspections of the building and the technical facilities
  • Responsible for the yearly departmental budget and ongoing monitoring (OPEX & CAPEX projects)
  • Planning and management of relocation and refurbishments projects within the building
  • Coordination, supervision and approval of construction works, maintenance, and repair services
  • Responsible for the canteen, access control system and the functionality of the Building Management System
  • Responsible for the physical security of the building
  • Assumption of the role of fire protection officer and ensuring occupational and health protection
  • Negotiate contracts and coordinate the entire process with Legal
  • Together with your team: be responsible for the area of "General Affairs" (e. g. management of company cars, administration of company mobile devices, printers, coffee machines, office supplies, insurances and travel management) 


Your Profile:

  • Degree as a building-, business or mechanical engineer or architect (m / w) with a focus on facility management or equivalent relevant training combined with strong commercial skills
  • Experience in building or construction management
  • First experience in managing a team
  • Familiarity with the regular used IT tools 
  • Basic knowledge of contract law (e.g. Tenancy law, service contracts)
  • Very good understanding of structural engineering and you can convince the involved stakeholders via good analysis skills, decisiveness and flexibility
  • Ability to communicate fluently in both German & English
  • Team player with excellent communication skills, solution-oriented and able to work under pressure and you like to work in an international environment
