Assistant Manager Connected Customer & Car (M/F/D)



at the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.


Job mission:


One of the focus areas within the Digital Channels team is the Connected Customer & Car (CCC) area. The team ensures that data is connected across channels, products, and services in order to create a seamless customer experience at all touchpoints incl. the car. The team also facilitates creation of a single view of the customer (CRM) and enables value-adding services and analytics.

The role supports the definition and delivery of high-quality, reliable software, data, and integration solutions in the CCC area in the most efficient way in terms of time and cost, using state-of-the-art technology and methodology.

NB: in-car technology itself is the responsibility of Global R&D.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Kia business functions to understand business requirements and priorities.

  • Translate business requirements into IT requirements and projects.

  • Manage IT projects from ideation through to delivery.

  • Facilitate the delivery of high-quality IT applications and ensure development standards are in place including coding, pipeline, release management etc.

  • Ensure that all IT systems are secure, scalable, and maintainable.

  • Facilitate the communication between business teams and technical implementation partners.

  • Support the continuous design and implementation of an integrated customer relationship management ecosystem and operating model.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to integrate services and technologies into the connected customer & car ecosystem.

  • Contribute to the technical roadmap for applications in the connected customer & car field in cooperation with business partners and HMG ICT.

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and customer preferences to introduce innovation into Kia Europe.


Your talents:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration with IT focus, or a related discipline

  • 2-4 years’ experience in application management, solution engineering or development roles

  • Experience in end-to-end project delivery and cooperating with external development partners.

  • Experience in DevOps methodologies, agile and continuous delivery best practices.

  • Good understanding of CRM solutions and operating models (e.g., Salesforce) and their integration into enterprise IT landscapes.

  • Experience in connected car topics is advantageous.

  • Ability to take initiative and work with limited supervision.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to new tasks and challenges in a fast-moving environment.

  • Very good verbal and written English communication skills (working language).

  • Good interpersonal skills, customer mindset and multicultural competence.
