Manager Compensation & Benefits (F/M/D)
in the People & Organization Department at the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany
Job mission:
To develop and guide attractive European compensation and benefits programs to support business needs, ensure internal and external equity and to attract & retain the best talents (14 subsidiaries in Europe).
Your responsibilities:
Implement a corporate pay philosophy: pay for performance (salary review + design of variable pay scheme)
Manage Compensation Programs: Oversee the day-to-day management of compensation programs in Kia Europe and within the organization. This involves coordinating activities like annual salary reviews, bonus calculations, and the administration of variable pay schemes.
Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of compensation data, including market benchmarking and internal equity assessments. Use this data to make recommendations for adjustments to salary structures and variable pay plans.
Monitor the effectiveness of compensation processes (e.g. bonus or salary review) and recommend appropriate improvements
Benefit Program Administration: Assist in the administration of employee benefit programs, such as pension schemes, medical care plans, and company cars. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in the European countries where the organization operates.
Grading and Job Evaluation: Collaborate with P&O to conduct periodic grading and job evaluation exercises for positions within your jurisdiction. Ensure that positions are accurately graded according to established frameworks.
Employee Communications: Prepare and deliver communications to employees in Kia Regional Headquarter regarding benefit programs, procedures, and any changes as well as share best practices with the markets.
Conduct regular grading of executive positions and functional heads throughout European subsidiaries and advise on proper grading of employees below executive levels
Process Improvement: Continuously assess the effectiveness of compensation and benefits processes within your region. Identify areas for improvement and recommend changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Your talents:
6 years (multinational) experience as HR generalist of which – min. 3 years within C&B area
Bachelor/Master degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, etc.
Ideally CCP certification
Korn Ferry evaluation certification
In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits policies and practice with applicable aspects on EU laws
Communicative and responsive
Self-motivated and well organized
Strong and proven analytical skills
Excellent MS Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
Networking and Influencing skills
Ability to work under pressure
Fluent in English (written and spoken), suitable languages advantageous
