Your Responsibilities:

  • Counsel and advise the business (in the countries Belgium, the Netherlands and Sweden) on a range of distribution, commercial, automotive, technology, privacy, and regulatory matters out of the European Headquarter in Frankfurt
  • Develop, draft and improve contracts with suppliers, Kia authorized dealers, fleet customers, media, sponsors and other Kia partners
  • Implement and support European business and IT projects on a national level from a legal and compliance perspective
  • Develop defense strategies and implement them in court disputes involving Kia
  • Conduct legal & compliance trainings
  • Manage the Kia compliance management system in these countries
  • Advise on competition law and GDPR
  • Coordinate and supervise the work undertaken by outside counsel


Your Profile:

  • University degree in Law
  • 5+ years’ experience in a law firm or in-house in a company in at least one of the countries in the region
  • Preferably automotive, distribution (wholesale and retail) or technology company background, ideally on international level
  • Team player and the ability to work in an international environment with various specialized departments
  • Intercultural awareness and a can do attitude
  • Interest in and affinity towards automotive, wholesale and retail sales, information technology and IP
  • Strong communication skills, reasoning security in negotiations and strong presentation skills
  • Cooperative working style with the willingness to assume responsibility
  • Business fluent English spoken and written plus fluency in at least one language spoken in the countries concerned (Dutch, French, Swedish). Speaking more of these languages is a plus.
