Assistant Manager Export/Import (All genders welcome)
at the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.
Job mission:
As a Trade Finance and Treasury expert, you will manage trade finance operations, oversee cash flow, and ensure compliance. Your role includes processing invoices, handling trade finance products, maintaining SAP data, and monitoring financial risks. You will also support cash management, collaborate with subsidiaries, and enhance Treasury processes.
Your responsibilities:
The following are main tasks and main responsibilities, but not limited:
Validate and pre-post purchase/sales invoices, and manage AR and due dates.
Process Trade Finance Products (e.g., Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees), including verification and payment processing.
Maintain SAP Trade Master data and drive improvements, standardization, and automation in SAP Trade processes.
Monitor financial contracts, interest exposure, and conduct bank reconciliations and credit risk management.
Prepare and analyze finance reports, Trade Finance guidelines, and Group Treasury reporting.
Support cash flow management with forecasts, liquidity monitoring, and daily cash management tasks (e.g., fund transfers).
Contribute to policy creation, Treasury control, and risk management, including ICFR documentation.
Cooperate with Distributors and European Subsidiaries, adapt procedures to meet complex requirements, and support regional Treasury process development.
Promote risk-aware culture and ensure compliance with required standards and practices.
Your talents:
Education:
University degree in Finance and/or a Business Administration with appropriate additional training.
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in Finance or Export Department.
Experience with Import/Export regulations and documentary business.
Skills:
Very good understanding of accounting and treasury processes.
Pro-active, able to work independently, strong analytical and communication skills, organizational skills, and good time management skills are required.
Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
Drive, motivation, promotion of new ideas and positive attitude Integrity, excellence, professionalism, and teamwork.
Excellent English language skills (German: at least B2).
Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of ERP System (SAP) preferable.
