Assistant Manager Market & Business Analyst (all genders welcome) at the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.
Job mission:
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making and supporting strategic initiatives through in-depth market analysis, business performance evaluation, and competitive benchmarking. This position will require a strong understanding of the automotive industry, with a focus on European markets, business performance, and industry trends.
Your responsibilities:
Market Intelligence Analysis:
Conduct thorough analysis across key European markets to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats for the automotive business
Analyze market share, sales performance and PESTLE drivers to provide actionable insights that inform business strategies.
Analyse market metrics for automotive-related businesses, helping us shape future viable business models beyond car sales
Strategic Support:
Develop go-to-market plans and strategies for future business models, based on thorough analysis and business requirements
Assist in the formulation of regional business plans and strategies to enhance market penetration and growth
Support the long-term Powertrain forecast through data-driven market assumptions and sales projections
Business Performance Evaluation
Business Performance EvaluationEvaluate business performance using data-driven insights to assess the effectiveness of current business strategies and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, CX, Aftersales, Network, etc.) to understand business needs and deliver relevant market insights that support strategic decisions.
Analyse business performance dashboards, presenting key metrics and reports to stakeholders with a strong focus on improvement areas across the business
Collaboration and Reporting:
Work closely with various departments, to provide market intelligence that supports cross-functional decision-making
Present findings, insights, and recommendations to senior management and other key stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations.
Your talents:
Education:
University degree or equivalent in business or quant-driven major (e.g. Business administration, math, engineering, economics)
Experience:
Min. 3 years of professional experience in automotive industry
Experience in writing business relevant reports in the automotive industry
Experience in using data insight databases in the automotive industry (S&P, Jato)
Experience in working with and analysing big data
Skills:
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
Written and verbal communication skills in English
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and beneficial if additional knowledge in business intelligence tools exists (e.g., Tableau)
Advanced data analysis skills with the ability to handle large datasets and generate insights.
