Work on real projects and tasks within our IT department of the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany

>> Starting from January 2025 - Minimum of 6 months (possible prolongation for up to 12 months).

The Requirements:

For your internship at Kia Europe you need to be enrolled during the whole internship period. Furthermore, you need a valid visa and an unrestricted permit to work in Germany. We recommend completing a six-month internship with us, as this gives you sufficient time to learn about Kia Europe and familiarize yourself with your topic.

Your Mission:

• Support the IT project teams in software development, testing, and maintenance.

• Support the IT team in Data & Analytics tasks, e.g., ad hoc data analysis, data pipelining, charting, and dashboarding.

• Support the IT team in routine tasks, e.g., user support, inventory management, and reporting.

• Support the IT team in documentation and translation tasks.

• Take care of and keep track of the issues reported in ticket management systems.

• Support the IT team in project management tasks.

 Your Talents:

• Graduate student having Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data engineering, data science, or a closely related field.

• Experience with SQL and one of the high-level programming languages, e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript.

• Familiarity with major software development tools, e.g., Git, Jenkins, and Linux-based environment.

• Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to new tasks, technologies and challenges in a fast-moving environment.

• Capable at analyzing problems and at communicating solutions and results.

• Strong team player with an open approach to different nationalities and cultures.

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

• Knowledge about ERP/SAP/eArchive solutions is a plus.
