Intern Market Management (all genders welcome)


For our Sales Department, at the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany

>> Minimum of 6 months starting from February 2024 (or later) with possible extension to 12 months


Your mission:

  • To facilitate decision making process by Sales department management by providing timely analysis and structured market data.

  • To assist in weekly sales forecasting and annual business planning.

  • To provide market intelligence & analytics to RMMs and relevant functions within KEU.

Your responsibilities:


Market Management Support & Analytics:

  • Provide support to the Sales team as part of Distributor Annual Business Plan (ABP), incl. managing the Volume templates, collating market submissions, updating rundown per market / per model, etc.

  • Prepare Customer Order Bank / Customer Order Take progression report per model  / per country, indicating gaps vs business plan.

  • Conduct ad hoc Market/Model Analysis & Proposals. In collaboration with RMMs, prepare sales performance analysis with markets and/or models focus.

  • Prepare Materials and reports for areas of Finance and Kia HQ.


    Weekly Sales Forecast:

  • Align and update Sales KPIs per market, as part of weekly sales forecast.

  • Prepare materials for the weekly forecast meeting with Sales VP / Sales Director.

  • Prepare minutes of Sales meetings, incl. Forecast meeting, and follow-up with RMMs on action points.

  • Prepare monthly sales reports, using ACEA and JATO databases.


    Sales Forecast digitalization:

  • Handle weekly submission cycle in the system.

  • Manage market user rights in the digital forecast environment.

  • Help markets resolve any system-related issues by liaising with the developer.

Your talents:

Education:

  • University degree - ideally in Business Administration or International Business.


    Experience:

  • Basic understanding of the Automotive sector and car sales.

     

    Skills:

  • Dynamic, self-motivated.

  • Forward planner with capability to “deliver” within deadlines.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); an additional European language constitutes an advantage.

  • Good computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
