Work on real projects and tasks within our PBV department of the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany

The Requirements:

For your internship at Kia Europe you need to be enrolled during the whole internship period in a university within the European Union. Furthermore, you need a valid visaand an unrestricted permit to workin Germany. We recommend completing a six-month internship with us, as this gives you sufficient time to learn about Kia Europe and familiarize yourself with your topic.

As a Sustainable Mobility Solutions Provider, we are exploring diverse ways to help people and businesses move beyond traditional automotive. A core part of our work in this area will focus on Platform Beyond Vehicles (PBV). The ultimate purpose of a PBV is to provide specialized vehicles to customers based on their specific needs. As a customer-centric company, we are aiming at providing flexible, sustainable mobility products that reflect the diverse needs of people and businesses within the light commercial vehicle segment (LCV).

In this role, you will be part of the PBV department in Kia Europe. You will be supporting the PBV team in the creation, coordination, and the execution of the PBV go-to-market strategy and business development plan.


  • Support tasks related to PBV business development and conversion strategy, including final customer and key industry players interaction.

  • Prepare and analyze reports on sales, pricing, incentives and Residual values.

  • Conduct and report desk research and benchmarking results including product and conversions using available (online) tools/platforms.

  • Work together with subsidiaries on PBV business development & conversion related topics to support European strategy.

  • Support in organizing events for commercial vehicle customers and industry players.

  • Support the PBV team with administrative tasks including organization of event vehicles, finance topics handling, data entry & document preparation, etc.

  • Go to Market Strategy support for NSCs and Distributors.

  • Conduct and guide benchmark competitors report on overall Ecosystem.

  • Prepare a monthly report on LCV Market Dashboard.

  • Support the all PBV Team in daily activities (report, presentations, etc).


     Your Talents:

  • You are a Bachelor or Master student in a business or industrial engineering related field.

  • You are knowledgeable of the automobile industry and have interest in product and business development.

  • You have a pro-active working approach, eagerness to learn and

  • You have excellent verbal and written English communication skills

  • You have an excellent command of MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

  • You are a strong team player with an open approach to different nationalities and cultures.
