The role of Kia Connect is to manage these services as well as to develop, deploy and monetize future services to enhance the convenience of our customers and the profitability of our company.

Job Mission:

For your internship at Kia Connect you need to be enrolled during the whole internship period. Furthermore you need a valid visa and an unrestricted permit to work in Germany. We recommend completing a six-month internship with us, as this gives you sufficient time to learn about Kia Connect and familiarize yourself with your topic. As Intern Data Management, you will support the Data Management team of connected car and customer data.


Your Responsibilities:

  • You will be part of our European Connected Car Data Management Team
  • You will research automotive trends, study customer behaviors and help us to pinpoint our products towards the needs of our future customers
  • You will not get bored: You will work with all latest tools and technology to uncover insights from data and translate them into recommendations that optimizes Kia’s business activities
  • Support various teams and markets with the analytics set-up to monitor, benchmark and predict performance


Your Profile:

  • Bachelor Degree in Big Data/Data Science. Alternatively a master degree in Business Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science with Data Science certification

• Experience in Python for AI-/ Analytics-libraries such as Scikit, TensorFlow, PyTorch, NumPy will be an advantage.

• Ability to develop web-based solutions from complex data analysis

• Interest in automotive; experience in automotive industry is a plus

  • Knowledge in Data Engineering (Spark/SQL): Understanding of different data visualizations tools for i.e., AWS QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, Foundry by Palantir etc.

•Knowledge of coding languages (e.g., Python, C++, Java, JavaScript) and frameworks/systems (e.g., AngularJS, Git)

•Knowledge in areas of Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Cloud-Architecture (i.e., AWS, Azure, Impact/Foundry)

•Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, JIRA is a plus

•Knowledge about Salesforce tools is a plus

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), additional European languages are a plus
