Your Mission: 

As Junior People Experience Business Partner in our Design Studio at Kia Europe in Frankfurt, you will support with establishing, executing and reviewing core processes and shape the team culture of Kia Design.

Your Responsibilities:

  • People Experience Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to team members, providing People Management expertise and insights to help achieve individual as well as business objectives.

  • People Administration: Support the accurate recording and management of employee data in Workday. Stay up-to-date with labor laws and regulations, and assist in ensuring the correct and legal handling of employment documentation. Provide updates and new hire data to Payroll.

  • Talent Acquisition: Support the timely filling of vacancies with appropriate resources – ensure that Kia Design attracts, selects, and hires top talent. This includes defining job profiles, conducting interviews, and assisting in onboarding.

  • Projects: Based on your experience, participate and lead projects and initiatives that support the People Experience as well as the Studio’s growth, efficiency, and effectiveness.

  • Learning and Development: Support with establishing and organizing training programs for our Design Teams to train the skills needed for future growth.

  • Employee Feedback: Collect and analyze employee feedback through surveys, focus groups, or one-on-one discussions to identify areas for improvement.

  • Performance and Compensation Management: Provide support in the performance appraisal and compensation process.

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources/Business or the equivalent in related work experience

  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in a multinational context as HR Generalist or similar

  • The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information is critical

  • Good working knowledge of local employment law and People Management best practices

  • Proven track record of positively influencing teams

  • Team Player who effectively handles multiple priorities, organizes workload and meet deadlines

  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication and presentation skills in English and German
