Manager Product Marketing (all genders welcome) within our Product & Pricing department at the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.


Job mission:
In this role, you will manage assigned Kia car lines from approximately 18 months before the start of production through the end of their life cycle, with a focus on defining feature and content specifications, conducting market research, and developing product positioning strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful launches, monitor performance metrics, and make strategic adjustments to pricing, marketing, or features to sustain competitiveness. All efforts are aimed at maximizing variable profit, driving sales volume, expanding market share, and enhancing brand equity.


Your responsibilities:


  • Coordinate product management activities for new launches by working closely with international internal and external cross-functional teams.

  • Conduct in-depth research on industry and market trends to guide life cycle management for the current portfolio.

  • Develop and analyze a Pan-European trim line strategy, involving markets to finalize and propose the best approach.

  • Develop special value packages tailored to maximize sales during peak periods.

  • Collaborate with the Pricing Team to establish market-appropriate pricing strategies and design specific life cycle actions and special packages.

  • Support the Pricing Team in setting competitive prices and updating product specifications.

  • Build and maintain a strong network by liaising with sales subsidiaries and gathering valuable market insights.

  • Address market challenges pro-actively by implementing targeted product life cycle actions.

  • Ensure markets receive timely and accurate updates on product specifications and information.

  • Act as a product expert, providing support to internal teams, including Pricing, PR, Marketing Communications, Sales, Training and After Sales as well as external teams at Kia Europe subsidiaries and distributors.

  • Represent Kia during launch events and activities with external stakeholders such as European journalists and key customers.

  • Offer actionable feedback on current models to the Product Planning team and teams at Kia Headquarters in Korea.



Your talents:

  • University degree in Business, Economics, or Engineering.

  • 5+ years of pan-European automotive industry experience.

  • Familiarity with market analysis tools (e.g., JATO, S&P Global).

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.

  • Organized, detail-oriented and adaptable.

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.

  • Initiative, self-confidence and resilience.

  • Passion for the Automotive industry and familiarity with Asian cultures/companies.

  • Willingness to travel for business requirements i.e. South Korea, major Auto Shows, meetings with European markets, test drives and support PR events while launching products.
