Manager Security Audit (all genders welcome)

at the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.

Job mission:

This important role will coordinate the cyber security review of company either directly or through IT service providers. This includes conducting security risk assessments, identifying threats and vulnerabilities, and presenting recommendations to the company, subsidiaries, affiliate companies and vendors. This position will also help ensure company compliance with local and global information security policies as well as responding to requests for evidence from internal and external auditors



Your responsibilities:

  • Coordinates security trainings & audits for organizations under Kia EU's jurisdiction, including but not limited to, Kia EU headquarters, subsidiary companies, affiliated companies and vendors. (50%)

  • Works closely with Privacy attorney to comply with current and emerging privacy laws and regulations to support privacy data lineage and leakage prevention activities. (30%)

  • Provides security consulting services to key stakeholders such as Legal, DPO (Data Protection Officer) and P&O. (10%)

  • Prepares and responds to security audits including the annual Kia HQ security assessment.  Works with Kia business units and IT service providers to gather evidence in response to audit requests. (10%)

  • Compliance Security responsibilities include:

    • Coordinating establishment of security trainings & audits for organizations under Kia EU's jurisdiction

    • Supporting privacy compliance activities such as privacy data lineage management and leakage prevention

    • Providing consultation to internal business units including data privacy

    • Coordinating security audits including Kia HQ's

  • IT Security responsibilities include:

    • Conducting security awareness activities including newsletters and user training

    • Coordinating response to security threats such as phishing attacks

    • Coordinating risk analysis of IT systems 


Your talents:

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparative experience with emphasis on information security

  • Advanced degree and/or certification(s) in cyber security a plus

  • 3 years of experience in an organization with mature security processes

  • up to 3 years of experience as a security auditor

  • Familiar with privacy regulations and compliance requirements

  • Familiar with the information security auditing process and evidence collection

  • Exposure to ISO 27001, NIST 800-53 and/or other ISMS controls

  • Be proactive attitude, self-motivated, and lead team to multiple concurrent solutions.

  • High-level organizational, planning, analytical, and technical skills.

  • Excellent customer service ability and strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in evaluating and enhancing systems support operations through effective leadership in process improvement.

  • Capability to oversee external IT vendors, ensuring the development and delivery of related products, programs, and services meet high standards.

  • Strong ability to assess requests from various business units and offer well-founded recommendations to senior management.

  • Demonstrated capacity to work independently, consistently executing responsibilities with a high level of reliability.

  • Effective collaboration skills, with the ability to work harmoniously as part of a diverse team pursuing multiple and complex objectives.
