Senior Manager Treasury (all genders welcome)

at the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.


Job mission:
Join our team as a Senior Manager Treasury! You'll be at the forefront of managing our treasury function, overseeing financial operations, and optimizing cash flow to safeguard our financial health and support our growth initiatives. Your role will be pivotal in leading our European Export/Import Team, ensuring the smooth flow of financial operations across Kia Europe and our European Subsidiaries. You'll play a crucial part in minimizing financial risks, making informed investment decisions, and maintaining a strong financial position.



Your responsibilities:


The following are main tasks and main responsibilities, but not limited:

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Treasury and Export/Import Team.

  • Manage banking relationships and oversee agreements with financial institutions.

  • Direct cash and liquidity management strategies, including forecasting for Kia Europe, subsidiaries, and manufacturing operations.

  • Supervise daily Treasury operations, focusing on Working Capital Management and Cash-Pooling.

  • Oversee the internal control system for Treasury operations, conducting regular reviews.

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and K-SOX regulations, conducting audits of Treasury and Trade activities.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive Treasury reporting to Management and Kia HQ.

  • Manage Export-Import (Exim) activities, facilitating car payment settlements and coordinating shipment documentation.

  • Centralize FX management, conducting reviews and analysis to optimize currency exposures.

  • Monitor compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements, including KYC (Know Your Client).

  • Cultivate a risk-aware culture, promoting efficient risk and compliance management practices.

  • Systematically manage financial, legal, corporate, and transaction-related agreements.


Your talents:


Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics or a related field is required.

  • MBA/Master's degree or Treasury Certifications is a plus.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant professional experience in Finance/Treasury Department.


Skills:

  • Experience with ERP System (SAP) preferred.

  • Ability to work proactively and independently, as well as being a team player.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • A proven track record of driving team motivation and fostering innovation.

  • Demonstrated commitment to integrity, professionalism, and teamwork.

  • Excellent command of English (German proficiency at least C1 level).

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
