Job mission:
As Specialist Website & UX you are responsible for ensuring our website remains up-to-date, secure, and functioning optimally. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and an eye for maintaining content accuracy and design consistency.
In addition, you are responsible to develop a social media strategy and to expand the presence on all channels.
As an optimal customer experience across all touchpoints is extremely important you should challenge the existing one along all of our touchpoints (app, head unit, website, social media channels) and support with ideas when new features/products are added. Therefore you would need to collaborate with cross-functional teams to design intuitive experiences that meet user needs and business objectives.
Your Responsibilities:
The following are main tasks and main responsibilities, but not limited.
Website Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the Kia Connect website, ensuring content is up-to-date and the site is functioning optimally.
Content Updates & Optimization: Collaborate with internal teams to update and optimize website content, ensuring it aligns with Kia's brand and marketing strategies.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, customer support, and IT teams to align digital initiatives with business objectives.
Performance Monitoring: Track website performance metrics (traffic, bounce rates, conversions) and provide insights for optimization.
User Experience and Design:
Collect and analyze user feedback to improve the site’s user experience and functionality.
Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to illustrate design concepts
Plan and conduct usability tests to gather feedback and iterate on designs and customer journeys based on user input
SEO & Analytics: Assist in SEO strategy to drive organic traffic and use analytics tools to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Project Support: Assist with digital projects and feature rollouts, ensuring the website is aligned with overall business goals.
Compliance & Data Privacy: Ensure the website complies with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, ePrivacy) and company policies.

Your talents:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Design, or a related field
Experience:
1-2 years relevant work experience in the field of digital customer facing products ideally in a start-up environment or in an IT company
Experience in automotive/mobility would be considered as a strong asset
Experience working in Direct-To-Consumer role would be considered as a strong asset
Skills:
Proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or Figma
HTML/CSS: Strong proficiency in creating responsive and semantic web designs
Knowledge of using Google Analytics or similar tools to track and report on website traffic and performance
Understanding of web security protocols to safeguard website integrity
SEO knowledge
Ability to think critically and creatively to solve user experience challenges
Understanding user-centered design, wireframing, and prototyping.
Familiar with project management
Ability to initiate, manage and deliver complex projects
Hands-on mentality paired with care and no fear of the unknown
Ability to influence behavior without organizational hierarchy
Comfortable using Agile project management tools like Confluence or JIRA
Strong motivation to work on new and unknown topics is needed
Independent working style combined with team spirit is required
Fluent in English (written and spoken), additional European languages are a plus
